Individual Membership

PARSSU Individual Membership is open to any of the following:

Administrators and/or practitioners in the field of research, measurement, and statistical modelling;

Scholars, educators, professors, instructors, teachers at all levels across disciplines who have direct or indirect experience in research, measurement, and statistical modelling with computer applications; and

Graduate students who are engaged in research, measurement, and statistical modelling.

Individual members are classified as follows:

Professional Member: At least graduate of any bachelor's degree. For example, with masters or doctorate degree but not qualified to the Regular Member.

Regular Member: At least a graduate of Master's degree with at least one (1) paper presentation (local, regional, national, or international) or one (1) research paper published in a reputable journal.

Types of Membership and Fees

Individual membership is classified into two categories: Professional and Regular. The membership fees, both annual and triennial (covering three years), are detailed in the matrix below.

Minimum Requirements Membership Fee
Regular Member
Master's degree with at least one (1) paper presentation (local, regional, national, or international) or one (1) research paper published in a reputable journal. 		₱700 per year
₱2100 per three years
Professional Member
Graduate of any bachelor's degree. Or, with master's or doctorate degree but not qualified to the Regular Member. 		₱600 per year
₱1800 per three years

Note: The membership/renewal fee is inclusive of PARSSU ID and Member Certificate.

PARSSU ID and Certificate Delivery Options: If you want your PARSSU ID and Member certificate delivered to your desired mailing address, please add to your payment any of the following amount for the courier/LBC: ₱160 (for NCR), ₱185 (for Luzon but outside NCR), ₱205 (for Visayas) and ₱215 (for Mindanao).

Period of Membership

Individual PARSSU Membership is renewable annually. The membership period begins on the payment date (as indicated on the official receipt) and continues until the same date the following year. To minimize the hassle of annual renewals, members can opt for a three-year membership. All renewals are subject to approval by the Membership Committee.

Individual Member Benefits

A PARSSU member in good standing for the current year is entitled to:

  • Receive Membership Card (ID) and Membership Certificate;
  • Avail registration fee discount on all trainings, conferences, and webinars organized by the association during the year;
  • Earn a Certificate of Engagement/Involvement if a member will involve on any of the following:
    • Lead author on PARSSU Collaborative Research
    • Co-author on PARSSU Collaborative Research
    • Resource speaker of PARSSU workshops/trainings/conferences
    • Panel/Plenary Session Moderator in the PARSSU workshops/trainings/conferences
    • Active Member of a PARSSU committee. Contact the PARSSU Secretariat for the specific committee.
    • Symposium Session organizer in the PARSSU National Conference.
    • Workshop/training organizer in the respective region
  • Consultation fee discount for all research and statistical services offered by the association.
  • Acquire statistical software (e.g., PSIMAGO bundled with IBM SPSS, Winsteps, WarpPLS, SmartPLS) for personal use at a discounted distributor price offered by Analytics Solutions OPC.
  • Rent statistical software for a minimum of one (1) year. Rental is applicable when a member has a project.
Statistical Software Assistance for PARSSU Members: PARSSU does not sell any statistical software. However, it provides assistance to members in obtaining discounted distributor pricing. To access this benefit, members must contact the software distributor, Analytics Solutions, at info@analyticssolutions.ph, and present their PARSSU ID when acquiring or renting statistical software.

How to Apply for Individual Membership or Renew Membership

For new applicants or those who renew their membership, please follow the steps below:

Step 3

Contact the PARSSU Secretariat via emails, phone calls, or text messages (SMS) only. (Emails: parssuconference@gmail.com and rachel.amora@parssu.org ; Mobile Phone: 09183292032). Head of the PARSSU Secretariat is Ma’am Rachel Amora.

Email the screenshot of your deposit slip or transaction receipt to the PARSSU Secretariat. Indicate in your email your complete name and the purpose of your payment (either membership fee or renewal fee). Do not send your deposit slip elsewhere! Again, please communicate with the PARSSU Secretariat through emails or Mobile Phone only.

Step 4

The PARSSU Secretariat will contact you also through your email. If you request for the soft copy of your Official Receipt, ID and Member Certificate, the PARSSU Secretariat will send the documents to your email address. If you don’t receive any email from us, please always check your spam folder. Please inform us upon receipt of our email. This is how we communicate via email.

On the other hand, if you request us to send your ID and Member Certificate via LBC, the PARSSU Secretariat will send you via Mobile Phone the LBC tracking number. Please inform us upon receipt of the LBC package.

STEP 1

STEP 3

Both parties (PARSSU and PARSSU Institutional Member) must sign the MoA and have it notarized. For PARSSU Institutional Member located in Metro Manila, the signing of the MoA can be conducted at the office of the PARSSU Institutional Member, upon request.

STEP 4

Pay your membership fee. PARSSU has been managed by Eins Review and Statistical Consultancy Center; hence, the payment should be deposited to its bank account. The official receipt of Eins Review and Statistical Consultancy Center shall be issued.

STEP 5

Contact the PARSSU Secretariat only through the following email, phone call, or text message details:

Ms. Rachel Amora is the Head of the PARSSU Secretariat.

Email the screenshot of your deposit slip or transaction receipt to the PARSSU Secretariat. Indicate in your email the name of the institution and purpose of your payment (either membership fee or renewal fee).

STEP 6

The PARSSU Secretariat will contact you and provide the following:

  1. Official Receipt
  2. Notarized Memorandum of Agreement
  3. Certificate of Perpetual License Ownership for PSIMAGO Pro (bundled with IBM SPSS Statistics Base)
  4. Certificate of PARSSU Gold Institutional Membership
  5. PSIMAGO Pro Software Installer (bundled with IBM SPSS Statistics Base). Please refer to the MoA for the software's usage policy.

IMPORTANT:

  • PARSSU Secretariat will maintain regular communication with the PARSSU Institutional Members via email. If you do not receive any emails, please check your spam folder.
  • For further details, we can arrange an online meeting via Zoom.
